Craig Evan Small - Owner/Founder

Craig Evan Small is a highly respected dealer of estate and antique jewelry from all eras, as well as unique gemstones, and fine wristwatches. The roots of Craig's interest in jewelry and timepieces stretch back to 1938, with the founding of his family's jewelry business in Chicago, Illinois. A decade later, the family made a move to Los Angeles, where they established their company as a premiere supplier of high-end jewelry to local retail stores. Craig entered the family business at a young age, becoming an expert diamond grader prior to graduating from high school. He then went to work for a diamond trading company in downtown Los Angeles and gained valuable experience buying and selling diamonds in the wholesale marketplace.

During the mid-1980s, antique jewelry had not yet evolved into the global business it is today. Craig was one of the first dealers in Los Angeles to recognize its enormous potential and he quickly emerged as one of the nation's leading experts in Retro, Victorian, and Art Deco jewelry.  In 1994, having spent several years supplying the city's most prestigious jewelers, Craig decided to open a retail establishment of his own, in order to share his passion and enthusiasm for antique jewelry, in a friendly environment.

Since opening his store in the exclusive Antiquarious Jewelry Mall in West Hollywood, California, Craig has enjoyed the privilege of working with numerous clients from all walks of life - from world-famous to soon-to-be newlyweds. Having handled virtually every type of antique and estate jewelry, Craig has the ability to provide his clients with the finest antique and estate pieces at extremely competitive prices. When it comes time to sell or trade a piece of antique or estate jewelry, Craig has resources and expertise to insure that you will receive top dollar for your important jewelry or fine timepiece. Thanks to Craig's dedication to providing exceptional customer service, you can be assured that buying or selling a piece of jewelry at Craig Evan Small Antique Jewelry will be a pleasant and educational experience.

In addition to being a nationally respected expert on Art Deco, Victorian, and Retro jewelry, as well as an expert on fine timepieces and Rolex watches, Craig is also a member of several trade organizations, including the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors (NAWCC) and the IWJG (International Watch & Jewelry Guild). Craig looks forward to meeting new clients and travels to several jewelry shows throughout the year. If you would like to meet Craig in person, to discuss your jewelry or watch buying or selling needs, please feel free to call him at (310) 550-7895, or send an email to craig@craigevansmall.com. Jennifer Ganda - Sales Manager

Jennifer Ganda is the Sales Manager for www.oneofakindjewels.com and Store Manager for Craig Evan Small Antique & Estate Jewelry. Born in Peoria, Illinois, Jennifer's enthusiasm for antique jewelry was initially inspired by her great-grandmother, who was a passionate collector of Art Deco jewelry. Jennifer developed an interest in fine jewelry at an early age, and began working in a jewelry store in Peoria while still in high school. After graduation, Jennifer decided to pursue a career in the jewelry industry and moved to Los Angeles, California, to study at the Prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA), then headquartered in Santa Monica, California, where she earned her degree as a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist. Jennifer's expertise in evaluating diamonds and colored gemstones earned her an invitation to join the GIA as a grader in their laboratory, one of the youngest GIA graduates ever to be hired in such an esteemed position.

In 1996, after five years with Gem Trade Laboratory, Jennifer left to join Craig Evan Small Antique & Estate Jewelry, as Store Manager. In addition to her responsibilities at the store, Jennifer also oversees the company's website and coordinates all phone and internet sales. During her tenure at Craig Evan Small, Jennifer has become an expert in Art Deco and Edwardian jewelry. She has had the privilege of buying and selling countless pieces produced by famous jewelers such as Tiffany, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Oscar Heyman.

In addition to her training at GIA, Jennifer also possesses extensive experience in jewelry design and frequently works with clients to help redesign their existing pieces. Jennifer's contacts in the industry allow her to outsource virtually any gemstone or fine timepiece. If you are looking for an engagement ring or a special piece of jewelry, Jennifer would be delighted to assist you in finding the perfect piece in your budget range. Please contact Jennifer by email, jennifer@craigevanemall.com, or call her at the store at (310) 550-7895.
