This stunning Victorian butterfly pendant also has a pin on the back to wear as a brooch as well. It features a large pear shaped rose cut diamond that we believe to be foil backed, approximately 1 carat, along with 58 rose cut diamonds, 14 rubies, and 1 natural blue sapphire. The butterfly is made of 18 karat yellow gold and topped with sterling silver, which was a common practice of the time. Circa 1890s with a new 14 karat yellow gold 18 inch chain.
